A cook walks into a bar…at Tales of the Cocktail

A cook walks into a bar…and murders everyone because they have control issues.

Next Thursday at 10:30 EST in NOLA and live streamed on the internet (link to follow)  Neil Robertson of Crumble & Flake and I will be delivering a seminar called:

A cook walks into a bar…

I sent this to the New Yorker with a snappy caption and I never heard back.

I sent this to the New Yorker with a snappy caption and I never heard back.

Read about it here.

But the short of it is, me, a guy who knows about drinks, hates everything and is a world class ranter and Neil Robertson, my friend, who is a world class pastry chef and who has distain equal, if not as vocal, to mine for things in general, will answer the question:

What does a 1st year culinary student know that it takes a bartender 10 years to learn?

You will learn & laugh about knife skills & mise en place while we rant-teach.

Bad News:  IT’S SOLD OUT, NO TICKETS LEFT!

Good News: Because it’s at 10:30 in the morning, there is a certain “attrition” from “the ton of booze” most people drink at Tales.  So, show up, and you might get in.

Also, I’ll post the link to the stream as soon as I can.  After the presentation, check back for a link to the deck that explains the story.
